FAQ

1. How does ambient temperature effect this induction range?
Please avoid installing the induction cooker in an area where other equipment can directly exhaust air. Proper ventilation is critical to the proper operation of the control unit, so ensure the range has adequate unrestricted air intake and exhaust ventilation. Maximum inlet air temperature must not exceed 43°C (110°F). Note that this temperature is the ambient air temperature measured while using all appliances in the kitchen.

2. What clearances are needed for this induction range?
To ensure proper installation and proper operation, ensure that countertop models have a minimum clearance of 3 inches (7.6 cm) at the rear and that the clearance under the induction cooktop is equal to the height of its feet. Keep in mind that some devices draw air from below, so it's important to avoid placing them on soft surfaces that may block airflow to the bottom of the device.

3. Can this induction range handle any pan capacity?
While most induction cooktops don't have specific weight or pot capacity limits, it's recommended to check the manual for the manufacturer's recommendations. To ensure optimal performance and prevent damage, it is important to use a pan with a base diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the burner. Using larger pans (such as stock pots) may reduce the effectiveness of the range and affect the quality of cooked food. Also, please note that using pots with curved or uneven bottoms, very dirty bottoms, or pots/pans with chips or cracks may cause error codes.
